The house is withing walking distance of the quaint fishing harbour of Port Isaac and the sheltered cove of Port Gaverne. Port Isaac has many good quality fish restaurants and café’s and many gift shops and galleries. There is a small supermarket only 300 yards from Oyster Bay – a boat can be launched from Port Gaverne, a friendly place with a pub a few yards from the beach. There are some superb sandy beaches within easy driving distance, south to Polzeath and Rock or north to Trebarwith and Tintagel. |
